The Symetrix 581E is a four-input, sixteen-output audio distribution amplifier, designed for use in recording studios, tape duplication facilities, or institutional fixed installations. A typical configuration accepts four input signals and distributes each input to four independent outputs, each of which may be individually attenuated via it’s designated front panel trim.

The level of each of the four 581E inputs may be independently controlled, as well. A 4-LED level meter for each block helps define the optimum operating levels. The unit operates from an internal power supply built around a low magnetic field toroidal transformer, resulting in a low-noise, high-output performance.
