Cypress Falls High School- Performing Arts Center

Located in Houston, Texas Broadcast Works integrated a new state-of-the-art sound and video system Cypress Falls newly renovated performing arts center. Specified and designed by BAI Consultants of Austin TX, the new AV system includes a Yamaha QL5 digital mixing console with large touch-screen interface, a DANTE-networked RIO stage box, and an iPad with Yamaha remote control software app. Sennheiser EW-500 series wireless microphone systems are provided along with suspended AKG stereo recording microphones to capture the live events on Denon digital audio recorders. A stereo-pair of ElectroVoice EVA line-array speakers with a center XLCi subwoofer provide rich, full-range sound reinforcement with wide dynamic range for the entire audience seating area. Electrovoice EVID ceiling speakers provide additional sound for the lobby and back-stage dressing room areas. Symetrix digital signal processors and Crown DCi audio amps deliver the power. A Crestron DM 8x8 digital media presentation system, coupled with the Crestron AV3 digital control system and TSW touch screen control panels, allow the control technicians to manage all aspects of the audio & video system with ease and simplicity. A Panasonic AW HE60SN remote Pan-Tilt-Zoom HD camera with 18x zoom lens provides exceptional image magnification and video capture capabilities for live events. The high-def video image is delivered to the audience by a super-bright Epson 12k lumen laser-engine video projector, onto a large 243” diagonal motorized video screen. A ClearCom production intercom system provides excellent full-duplex speech communication between all sound, stage and lighting crew.
